The second 3C compatible curve pattern is the classical “single main thoracic curve” with no lumbar or just a mild totally functional lumbar curve. This is called A2 type. Second criterion for diagnose is the TP offset to the convex thoracic side. It can be combined with a structural proximal thoracic curve (D modifier)
